Phil Ivey has been labeled as the greatest poker player on the globe by quite a few of the top pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and moved to Jersey before his first birthday. Phil credits his achievements to discipline and an undying passion for the game of poker. Phil states that he is learning every single day and is incredibly humble about his success. He admits to making mistakes in each session of poker and always strives to get better.

Even though Phil has come first in some big-time tournaments, he favors winning cash games on a normal basis.
