Have you observed the new PokerPro texas hold em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about a couple of weeks ago when I took a short getaway with my parents to the WinStar Gambling establishment in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my turn to be called at the live tables, I observed how the other individuals at the PokerPro tables interacted with one another. It was fairly interesting to say the least. Since the poker table was controlled by a computer, there had been no poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was stale. Perhaps I was the only one that spotted this, but I did notice the gamblers in the table had a dull quality to them. The cause of this may be since there was no human discussion with the dealer, the ambiance was rather dull and the players looked uninterested. It was almost as if I was looking at a live version of a web-based texas hold em poker room rather than sitting with hot blooded humans. It was a tiny bit freaky and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of ST:TNG and the holodeck broke down.
Since the waiting time for the reside tables for more than an hour, I made a decision to observe how the casino game action was and to encounter this new texas hold’em poker gaming technologies. Right after playing a few hands, I genuinely felt like I was wagering at residence. The lack of activity in the table was the main reason. I prefer to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are feasible at these electronic tables.
Another thing I noticed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a good deal of hands at the PokerPro table and discovered that the wager on was a lot like an online holdem poker website. That might have been just a coincidence, but I found it to become incredibly odd.
After wagering a few rounds with this "unique texas hold em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m much better off playing hold’em poker on the web at home and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house were to receive rid of the stay poker tables, I think they’d shed a whole lot of gamblers.
