Poker Aces – learning to wager them

Poker Aces references two aces dealt pre-flop. It’s the strongest possible pre-flop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But despite this a good many competitors end up on the wrong end when dealt these cards.

When you’re dealt a pair of Aces, you just don’t fold before theflop. You’re sitting with the greatest possible hand at this stage of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say definitely no to that.

Remember, you’re looking to generate as much money from this strong position. You need to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will basically scare most individuals into dropping out and not laying a bet.

If you are in the early position (1st or second to actually bet), you’ll place a single bet. Any person with decent cards will call, hopefully somebody will raise. If there has been a raise do not hop to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

Following the flop your course of action will be to eliminate anybody that could get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you’re lucky you’ll trick 1 player into thinking that you are tricking.

If you’re in the center or later seat (near the last to bet) you’ll observe as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Guard your hand by making the other players fold after the flop. If you don’t drive out your adversaries you risk squandering your hand.
